- I feel that Queen written some good songs which have sold, but to me they are still good songs, but to the rest public the only way you can (….) those songs is when they’re retell, and when they in the charts, so – that’s their way, cause as far as I’m concerned, I want to write commercial music itself – to everybody. And sometimes if I’ve personally think I’ve written a good song, and it doesn’t sell – I’ll say: “O’K, forget about it”. And through it out. It’s like use tissues, as far as I’m concerned. I just go on to the next.

(о Radio Ga-Ga)

- Roger had an idea of very snood melodic content, and to be honest, it was called “Radio Ca-Ca before”, and initially it was to deal with the Radio been too old or whatever, and I just sad: I think, you should change the lyrical content, and in fact, we went totally the other way, so, I mean, Radio Ga-Ga – I mean, it’s good, and so, Radio Ca-Ca… we were actually trying to say that video is trying to take over, what’s the radio go on to be?

- I’m not one of those people who wanted on safari, getting inspiration with wild animals, running around me or going up mountain tops and things – no, I can do it, sitting in the bath – in fact Crazy Little Thing Called Love was written that way. I was just laying in the bath and I just got … started storming away. I marvel those people, and I don’t need wild life for inspiration.
