pleased for that.
It’s just very bombastic, very pompous, and very me and it’s quite outrageous,
and that’s basically World War going on in this track.
W.: How the song … from this album, Freddie, which one
that you found the (master boarding).
F.: What… It sells
the most. At the moment I couldn’t tell.
I like a more action I had a tuft time
to choosing the ones that I wants for the album. It like a choice of near 20 or
22 songs … near album (in a can). But It was quite a difficult task because you
know I … left one… the biggest hits but in… I make a choice and… What was the
question? (laughs)
W.: I ask which you found the masterboarding song.
F.: I couldn’t sing loud one song because I mean
in this point of time I thing to be liking a different song every day because
an also right now very close to it anyway.
W.: You suddenly hit some high notes on this Album, which
some of them are pretty astounding.
F.: I know, I used the Demis Roussos' method: you get a
pair of pliers under the frock and go “kh!”
W. (laughs): You haven't had any operatic training then ?
F.: No, not really. I just listened to Montserrat Caballie a lot, you know.
No, no not at all. I just have a range depending on what mood I'm in just goes
up and down and I think with this Album I've had a little bit more freedom,
because I've had more songs. So I've had, you know, a bit of scope to actually
try some of my sort crazy ideas. Let's see.
W.: Yes…
F.: You don’t be so
infantic!
W
(laughs) - But if you have massive success with this album if this magnificent…
F.: I just (…) (W. laughs) My solo projects not go to
the end…. It seems it doesn’t means that Queen albums go to the end. I just (…)
And just both. And if this solo project is not the success I sure that I’ll make more. … Because it
something that I have to do. It’s something in my blood and now I do it. You
can like it or not, so that.
W.: Are you affected by
criticism?
F.: Yes, of course. That is much it before… I mean
you know, in terms of Press and things, I'm a very hated person, but I hate the
press as well. So that goes both ways, but to me I think I've learned to live
with it. I'd be a liar to say I'm not hurt by criticism because I mean
everybody is, you know, of course I want everybody to say I'm wonderful and
they like my songs, but I mean I don't mind actually a sort of genuine well
thought out criticism, but I mean of course you're going to get... just...
people review our Albums without even listening to them and things like that,
but I mean that's the way of the world and before I used to get really mad and
start tearing my hair out but now I don't have anymore sleepless nights, so
just I learned to live with it. Let them all come.
W.: ….
anything that suggest it?
